Best pizza I’ve had in a while. I also had the parmigiana di melanzane, which was also great. Patrizia, owner of this charming restaurant, who takes orders and plays an active role in running it, is simply amazing. Very friendly, hospitable and made me feel like my mother was taking my order. She also showed great flexibility in serving me with a tailor-made salad. The prices are also very reasonable and much more competitive than venues nearby. Grazie mille, Patrizia. Restaurant located at the foot of the steps of the Amalfi Cathedral. Touristy but of an excellent standard and with absolutely fair prices. For those on a budget they make a good pizza, even to take away. Attentive and friendly staff. It's worth booking, especially on weekends!

Bad experience even before entering! The waiter was waiting for us at the door as if he were waiting for a table, and then addressed in a very rude and "mimicking" and mumbling way as he turned towards the entrance.

Historic pizzeria restaurant with outdoor tables located next to the Amalfi cathedral and overlooking it. The area is a bit chaotic due to the flow of tourists and patrons, but it doesn't seem that the place is negatively affected in terms of service level. Very varied menu of typical local dishes, cooked in a simple way as tradition requires (such as the fantastic scialatelli with aubergines or seafood), or with a touch of reinterpretation (such as linguine with anchovies and walnuts), but still tasty and appetizing. Generous portions (so much so that we couldn't finish the splendid fried fresh squid, shrimp and anchovies, sigh!). Fairly extensive wine list with a good representation of Campania wines: our choice fell on a lacrima christi vesuviano, all in all rarer and difficult to find outside the area of ​​origin. Finally, an excellent artisan limoncello is a must. The service is efficient but somewhat impersonal. The prices are adequate, considering the fish menu and the location in the heart of Amalfi. Despite the inevitably somewhat touristy vocation, the restaurant manages to maintain an excellent quality of the cuisine and invites you to return. Of course, it is essential to book, unless you prefer to wait for a seat to become available.

It was a long time since I reviewed a restaurant but tonight I can't help it. After reading the reviews and being recommended by a local friend, we booked for 3, myself, my wife and our son. Arrived they showed us our table, which you will see in the picture, for three people, or rather they consider it suitable for 3 people ..... Judge for yourself .. I pointed out that the table is small to be able to have dinner with three people with different dishes, the response received was ... It is set for three so it is suitable .. To not suffice they made us sit directly in front of the steps of Piazza Duomo in the center, a coming and going of people, tranquility - 3. Already here began to understand the quality of the place ... We ordered drinks and dishes .. The wine list is ridiculous but a prosecco never hurts ... 25 euros for a prosecco that can only be used as an anti-limescale, see photos, judgment and price !!!!!! The dishes, including pizza, are decent and for this reason I put 2 stars otherwise 1 was enough not being able to put zero. In conclusion, I cannot recommend a place of this target having medium-high prices. Many will say, yes, but what do you expect in the center of Amalfi. I reply by saying that it is normal that the prices are higher than in the suburbs, but one more reason to expect quality, service and courtesy .. If this fails, any price is questionable !!!!

4 of us stopped for lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dishes offered are good quality. We didn't taste the pizzas but they looked great. Acceptable prices for being under the Amalfi Cathedral.

The restaurant is practically next to the Duomo. The pizza dough is excellent and very light. If you want to finish your meal with a bang, take the lemon delight: stratospheric.

Pizza and pasta ordered by our group were fantastic. Brilliant service and lovely location right on the centre of Amalfi. Fabulous weather only added to the experience! Second time visiting this location and can't reccomend enough!

Have been here for 3 days on the beautiful, steep coast of Amalfi and have already decided twice for this restaurant. As the pizzas taste just awesome, homemade and delicious! The service is very friendly and endeavors that nothing is missing. Location is a bit off the main road, yet busy but it did not bother you. The second time were there and the service remembered us: D Have chosen this time other dishes, with different appetizers, and were again very pleasantly surprised! Price / performance ratio is great, this pizza (pisana) was for 12 euros and the appetizer with the cheese for 6 euros, were just delicious and highly recommended. LG Jan

Really friendly staff and lovely food. I had the Emo pizza and my friend had the roma, both were great. We shared some fries too and they were so tasty and not greasy.

Food is very good but they lost stars as service left to be desired. The antipasto we ordered never arrived; no waitresses ever appeared for us to complain until the food arrived; they tried to bring it with the main dishes and no excuses were asked for.

Very expensive for a mediocre food.

A truly remarkable restaurant. It seems small but when you enter the interior is very large, like other restaurants in southern Italy, nestled in impossible buildings. The attention was exquisite at all times. Quick, pending that everything was perfect at all times ... the very good pizzas, the best of Amalfi. The Caesar salad also amazing, the best I have ever tasted (and I have eaten a few). I would go back without hesitation.

Very courteous and professional waiters, the restaurant enjoys a good position adjacent to the steps of the church, now that it is S. Andrea we witnessed from the restaurant the famous procession with the running of the statue carried on the staircase ... it was worth it, even if the food it is of normal quality but with a high price ... 16 euros a first.

We just finished our lunch :) We had fungi and Amalfitana pizzas which I was told that it deserves to be tried.The dough was over cooked(burnt?) but the pizza topic(ingredients) were swimming over the pizza.Thumbs down?
